Mom...Im Bored

I get so tired of hearing that they are bored, when there is so much to do!!!!!  So I made several activity list; an indoor activity list, an out door activity list, a parent permission activity list, a family activity list, an art activity list and a night time fun activity list.  The indoor and art list work the same way they do at school.  They have a clothes pin with their name and they move it to the activity or "center" then they play there for at least 30 min before moving to the next "center".  They must clean the center before moving.  I have word documents  I will try to upload later :)

For the love of Pintrest

I have had so much fun finding and doing crafts on pintrest.  If you are not familiar with pintrest, its an online virtual pin board.  Its similar to finding things you like in a magazine, but you are able to organize them in to categories and come back later to find them.  Here are a few things we did over Christmas:

Made Santa Hats & Beards

Decorated our doors (idea found on pintrest http://www.ironcountymcf.com/doorcontest.html)

 Played with Insta Snow (http://www.discountschoolsupply.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?product=3159&keyword=insta%20snow&scategoryid=0&CategorySearch=&Brand=&Price=)

We have had such a fun Christmas!  And now there are only 5 days left!!!!!  The excitement is killing me :)

Noah - Mom today there are three rules (holds up finger)
Rule #1 - No nap today
Rule #2 - We party all day
Rule # 3 - We play all day

Me - Really? Why dont you run that by your teacher

Noah - (sheepishly) Do we have to nap today?

Teacher - Yes noah, but you will be exauseted by nap time

Noah - WHOS READY TO PARTY?!!

Wishing you a great party day

Named After

Both of my children were named after great men in the Bible.  Eil's full name is Elijah and he is named after Elijah the profet who was taken to Heaven with out dying.

So on the way home one day Eli said "Mom what if one day I am looking for my shoes and God just takes me to heaven and you cant find me?  and I said "well Eli I dont think that is going to happen"  and he said "Well its happened before"

San Antonio Day Six

This was our last day in San Antonio.

We woke up and drove up to Rio Vista Park in San Marcos Tx.  There is an awesome swimming hole there and the kids loved it.  They went down the rapids.  My Crazy boys!!!!  I love them so much and they had a blast.  Then we were headed home!

Oh and we had so much fun at the Magic Time Machine that we went BACK for dinner!  This time Malibu Barbie was our waitress.  It was a blast!

We also saw Daphnie

San Antonio Day Four

On day four of our San Antonio adventure we headed to the Water Park at Sea World.  The meal passes they have are well worth the money. (unlimited food and drink) We floated the lazy river, did all the slides we were tall enough to do, played in the kiddy area and the wave pool!  Eli and I got beat up by the waves.  Daddy (Wes) is much more comfortable with the kids being dare devils that I am.  At one point I heard this man say "wow, look at that kid, he is crazy"  I looked to see he was pointing at my son (Eli) and I said "yep this one keeps me on my toes!"
All & All it was a wonderful day!

San Antonio - Day Three

Sea World Here we come!!!
We finally found a Dunkin Donuts.  Man that was not easy.  But once we found it we enjoyed it.  Then off to Sea World for a day of fun.  We had a quick que pass (puts you at the front of the line)  I hightly recomed it.  Totally worth the money.  We got to ride all the rides that the kids were tall enough for & see all the shows.  If we had not had the quick que pass, I am not sure this would have happened.

Azul is by far the best show.  I would compare it to a Disney show.  We were not all that impressed with the Shamu show, now that they can not swim with the Orka Whales, its not that interesting.

Awesome!!!

One last picture set, I thought this was so funny!!!!

San Antonio Day Two

Man we slept so great!  The kids actually slept in.  I love hotels!!!!  After everyone was dressed it was off to Jack in the box for breakfast.  After a yummy and totally unhealthy breakfast (trust me I tried, Wes laughed at me and said there is nothing healthy at Jack in the Box)

It was off to the Alamo. We had a blast walking around the grounds and telling the kids some Texas history.

Then we were off to Rilpeys believe it or not, which was interesting but I think Wes enjoyed it more than I did.

After Ripleys we headed to the Wax museum, which I loved.  It was so fun taking pitures with the different celebritys.  Wes even met the president.

Now it was time to tour the river walk.  We had a fun and informative boat ride, then lunch on the river walk. Whooo - what a day.

But were not done yet...oh no.  Back to the hotel for a short breather, changed clothes and off to the river we go!!!!  After a fun swim we headed to Red Robin for a bite to eat and NOW its time to rest.  Tomorrow is a big day :)
