Im Done!!!

Eli came home from school and told me he was done dating.  He said all his girlfriend wanted to do was kiss, because she kissed her mommy all the time & he was tired of kissing. - Eli is 3.  I am thinking I should remind him of this when he is 16

Eli's Birthday

My Eli turned 5 recently

And he really wanted a Woody doll

So he got a Woody Doll :)

Then it was time to set up for his pool party!

Just one more funny thing.  Aunt Amy got Eli two dwarf African frogs for his birthday with my approval

He was so excited.  The ladies at the toy store said "don't worry, they are both males so you don't have to worry about babies"  Great I thought.

 Then the boys came and got me because the frogs were hugging and it was so cute

 ya its super cute.  And we might have baby frogs soon

Eli's Birth Story

Eli was a scheduled C-Section, due to my first child being an emergency C-Section.  He was 10lbs 12oz.  His birth was pretty uneventful.  I was nervous about the scheduled c-section, because I did not know what to expect.  Since with my 1st epidural I was in really bad pain, I was a little scared about having an epidural with no pain.  But my nurse was really sweet and it was really not a big deal then a few min later we heard him scream and he was here!  He was too big for the dr to lay on my chest, so Wes held him.

Since Noah was only 16 months old at the time he did not come up to the hospital to meet him.  He met him at home.

Now these guys are inseparable.  And it makes me so happy

Nocturnal

I was tucking Eli in to bed and he said "mom don't you know I am nocturnal". I just shook my head

Running

We went on a bike ride yesterday.  I was on my bike, Wes was on his bike pulling Eli behind him in the bike carrier, then Noah was on his bike.  Noah asked if we could stop for a water break.  At this point Eli asked his father if he could get out of the basket and run.  So when we started up again we had a jogger in out little pack.

The Lows man said "what the?" and pointed to Eli

I said "marathon training" and he burst into laughter. 

How is it when you kid wants to do something odd, it ends up looking like you are the crazy one.  What do your kids do that make you look crazy?

Lost in Translation

Gran - Hey Eli tell mom what you did tonight!

Eli - (facing me with grans black high heal on his hand, puts high heal on face) doo dee daaa (moves shoe to stomach) daa doo dee, (moves shoe to neck) dooo ah ehhh da

Gramps - Okay Noah its up to you to save the story

Any thing ever get lost in translation with your family?

It wasent me

There was a peroid of time where my youngest son was peeing on the floor and blaming the dog.  He would run into the room and say "MOM, come with me.  The dog PEEed on the floor"  He would grab me by the hand and take me to the pee spot.  Well the problem was the pee spot was too small to be the dogs, it was Elis pee spot.  We finally broke him of this.

So our new dog had an accident on the floor, he pooped.  Eli ran into the kitchen and said "GUYS REX POOPED!  REX.....It was not me, I SWEAR that I did not POOP on the floor"

I had to laugh, because I wonder how many people have gotten themselfs in a situation where they have to be specific that it was NOT them who used the bathroom on the floor

My Little Guy

Eli was in the tub and I said

"There is my little guy....my little guy who is getting too BIG!  Why are  you getting so big?"

Eli - Mom I have to get big so I can marry

Me - Oh great, just what I want

Guest Writer - Eli

Occasionally I will have a guest writer.  In this case I am still the writer, he is just telling me the story.  So with out further adieu here is Eli's story.

Once upon a time someone shaked their booty and they got in big trouble.  Then they went ahead and played with toys and made some phone calls and put on their underwear.
